the bees knees

i'm kind of crazy about honey bees, and i secretly can't wait till i can raise my own. so it shouldn't be much of a surprise that i love jewelry celebrating the little pollinator, and their delightful honeycomb kingdoms. these are a few of my favorites - wearable reminders to tell people of the plight of the honeybee. (1. bees knees ceramic necklace, 2. bee mine necklace, 3. vintage brass bee barrettes, 4. bamboo honeycomb earrings)

hi natalie,
thanks for dropping by my blog. i'm absolutely fascinated by the fact that those small rooms in Victorian houses use to be fainting rooms. it's sort of macabre and strange. I'm so happy you filled me in. it was one of those questions that i always wondered about. i'm going to see what else i can find on the topic.

oh yeah, and bees pretty incredible little guys. i'm also pretty fascinated by their whole social structure and way of doing things!

Hi. Never commented before, but I always check this site out. Anyway, not sure if you're familiar with the work of Aganetha Dyck, but if you aren't, google her and then prepare to be delighted.
